For Authors — How to Submit

Authors are invited to submit original research papers on topics related to social and environmental accounting, corporate governance, CSR, accountability, and sustainability.

Submission Method

To submit your manuscript, please follow these steps carefully:

  1. Prepare your manuscript using the ISEA Article Template.
  2. Ensure your manuscript meets all formatting and ethical requirements stated in this guideline.
  3. Rename your file as: ISEA_YourName_ShortTitle.docx (e.g., ISEA_Smith_SustainabilityAccounting.docx).
  4. Email your manuscript as an attachment to: hfauzi.isea.icseard@gmail.com
  5. Include in your email:
    • Full name and affiliation of all authors
    • Contact details of the corresponding author
    • A short cover letter introducing your paper
  6. Wait for an acknowledgment email from the editorial office confirming receipt of your submission.

Manuscript Preparation

Authors must prepare their manuscripts using the official ISEA Article Template. The manuscript should follow the structure, formatting rules, and technical standards outlined below:

  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman; main text 11 pt; line spacing single; 12 pt spacing between paragraphs; 18 pt spacing before the next major heading.
  • Title: 16 pt, bold, Times New Roman; line spacing fixed at 20 pt.
  • Author Information: 10 pt, Times New Roman, fixed 12 pt spacing. Include full affiliations (department, institution, address, country, email).
  • Abstract: 10 pt, Times New Roman; maximum 200 words; left and right indents 0.5 cm; 12 pt spacing before next heading.
  • Keywords: 10 pt, italic, Times New Roman; 5–10 keywords arranged alphabetically.
  • Main Body Structure:
    • Major Headings: 12 pt, bold, Times New Roman, title case.
    • Subheading Level 1: Standard subsection titles.
    • Subheading Level 2,3,... For deeper subsections as needed.
    • Follow IMRAD structure (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion) or another logical arrangement aligned with article type.
  • Figures and Tables: Centered, numbered consecutively, and referenced in the text.
  • Length: Maximum 20 pages, including tables, figures, appendices, and references.
  • Acknowledgement: Optional section placed before references.
  • References: Follow APA 7th edition. Within-text citations should include author(s) and year. See template for examples.

Submission Checklist

  • The manuscript has been prepared according to the ISEA article template.
  • All references and citations follow the APA 7th Edition format.
  • The file name follows this format: ISEA_YourName_ShortTitle.docx
  • The corresponding author’s contact details are clearly provided.
